# $Id: README,v 1.1 2008/09/13 18:33:17 ksb Exp $ This is pretty useful on a day-to-day scripting basis. Where one might use "curl" or "fetch" or "wget" to get something from a web server I would use "muxcat". Why? Becuase I don't want to write the data to a tmp files, I don't want to configure, run, patch Apache (or the like) on hosts that don't need that complexity. I find the anonymous data services tcpmux provides quite useful. I even backup my hosts with them. -- ksb, Sep 2008
