Implement an emulation for the kvm library for Linux.  Put it in
explode's repo, then use it as a basis to port to other platforms.
I looked at the /proc filesytem as a basis for that, and it looks
like I've have to open _lots_ of /proc/$pid/status files as parse
them.  Yow, that would be slow.
