Use xclate in IED mode to make this easier, and work better.

We should use "gtfw" for tempspace if we have one, else wrap ourself
in a gtfw, or fall-back to tspace.m.  Yeah. For sure.

Implement "-i file" with the escrow wrapper.

Cloak the use of ptbw.  We can use ptbw -d.
